Re: End of the Obama Recovery and Bull Market...? The Baltic Dry Index..TGH and TAL (I have not followed CAP but will look into it) are slow growing cash cows. So I only buy them when they are at the low end of their trading range. They sell but also rent out freight containers...furnish logistics, track, maintain, sell these unit which have a 30 plus life expectancy. Recently a growing new market has opened up for the used container market... building homes and small office complexes using one container or joining many together. Good for rough climates like rain forest, deserts and arctic weather sites. And being used more and more often where earthquakes or floods have wiped out towns and villages when quick solutions are needed to get the shelter rebuilt. So I do not think these two stocks will get you rich quick but for income and a good Total Return over time --I think the management at these two companies will deliver the goods... another dull but profitable investment . Obviously one of my buy and hold for the very long time with minimum worry and stress. Please note the prior stock price highs these two have... Or perhaps that is just my Alfred E. Newman philosophy showing..."What me worry?" ***PinewoodsBear*** |
