Those borders have always been pretty fluid. Now they are effectively gone. Syria, Iraq, Yemen... no point even looking at the borders on a map any more, they don't exist in real life. With neighboring countries seeing a rise in incursions, my expectation is that there is going to be some serious redrawing going on as they seek to protect their own borders by taking control over the lawless areas.
The Saudis are not at war with Iran yet, and possibly won't get into one. All the bordering countries have a vested interest in stabilizing adjacent uncontrolled areas so there is a good chance that they can come to a diplomatic agreement over administration and control of land they didn't want to have to occupy in the first place.
