This day marks the five year anniversary of MLP Index reaching its lowest yield ever at 5.37%, just 27 bps above 10-year treasuries. Today, MLPs yield around 6.2%, some 470 bps above treasuries at 1.50%. Any folks here around back then, do you feel better or worse about your MLP investments than you did then? Do you have more or less fear about your MLP investments than you did back then before the financial crisis and gas production boom?
The spread looks cheaper, but that 1.5% 10-year implies virtually no economic growth going forward, do you feel like MLPs are cheaper now than they were back then?
