Re: Any Ideas Why NAT Did So Well Today?I guess if Suezmax rates continue high and as long as NAT is paying more the 10% dividend, NAT will go up. I like Slhubb's point about Suezmax vessel prices, but not for the reason of NAT valuation. NAT has a long standing policy of expanding their fleet when prices are right (i.e. low). If Suezmax vessel prices remain high NAT is less likely to do a dilutive stock offering to expand fleet. As we are painfully aware a couple of years ago we stubbed our toes on just such an offering. |
