Tomi got a couple of simple things wrong:
- Warren vs Icahn: as he admits Warren might still be underwater with his AAPL purchases, however, if my memory is right, Icahn made about 50% gain with his trade. How does this one-day 6% jump make Icahn look bad in the big picture.
- Speaking of the big picture, Tomi got confused in his chart reading: first he says that AAPL was in a lower high lower low down trend, then he claims that AAPL now is in a higher low and higher high uptrend; both are true except that the former is a longer-term intermediate trend that has lasted for a year, the latter is a multi-week short-term trend which as not broken the longer down trend.
I don't see fundamental reasons for the down trend to reverse, but chart has the final say on that.
