Re: Here "it" comes
Apple will only do it if it can create a platform, and THAT is the juice of the whole thing. everything else will come off it. Just like the Apple Watch which for the same reason(s) IS a platform, and with its native apps next month will work together and separate from iPhone, Apple knows how to dominate.
And more domination is coming.
Speaking of domination, Apple Music, I think it works well, and is very rich, but I never was a fan of subsection based music, bleeding money every month for something I personally rarely use, as I drive a lot and all my cars have Sirius and RealJazz I listen to. At home, I have multiple ways of playing music. For me, subscription music is for dinners where you don't want to get up and play DJ, and for long trips, vacations, etc. Most people and clients I know, are already using Sonos systems with Pandora, primarily, and their own iTunes libraries, and don't switch easily between what they know and something else. They just want to play music, just like Steve said about TV: "You sit in front of it and you turn your brain off." So, if Apple Music will dominate, we'll see in the long term, but primarily, like everything else Apple, it is there to sell hardware, and the Beats headphones are HOT.
So there .....there. We know how this works, don't we?
