A Meeting With Charles T. Munger, A Very Wise Man, Who May Not Know It, But He Is Finally a BULL on OUR (3)!Dear Fellow LVLT Shareholders, I bring good news to your attention left over from yesterday which changes the pendulum in our "too hard to figure" LVLT shares forever. My only regret is that although I got one "lawyer" question in, I was refrained from dovetailing a final question of the day to one of the smartest investors in the world because at that point they decided to end the Q&A even while I was chomping at the bit. If I was allowed to ask that final "earth shattering" question it would have went like this: Hi again Mr. Munger, I am a bit confused and baffled today after hearing you just explain that the internet in your view is the most important invention of this century, while you have continued to marvel about how "BITS" travel the universe with glaring examples like the Chinese woman who out of nowhere went VIRAL on YOUTUBE almost certainly "DISRUPTING" traditional broadcast and "MEDIA" business models. Moreover, you have now made it plainly clear that you are no longer sure how broadcasters, aka, "incumbents" like your old friends at CAP CITY, aka, ABC, are going to survive going forward even while you continue to ponder this miraculous question of how BITS are travelling the globe, with a Cal Tech questioner, prior to me, just giving you a "wink and a nod" that if you tap him on the shoulder after the meeting, he would be happy to explain it to you. Mr. Munger, you will recall that nearly four years ago, you told me in a pack filled house that LVLT was "too hard to figure," and that Walter Scott was a "GREAT GUY" but not a great investment even though he is certainly "A GREAT BUILDER" as the "ORACLE" has exclaimed over time. At this time, I can only ask you, Sir, why haven't you asked your dear friend, Mr. Scott, about this "BITS" travelling around the earth problem, in order for him to provide the necessary answer since his company, Level 3 Communications, carries the majority of the world's internet traffic, err BITS, over its backbone "TRACKS"? Finally, sir, in all due respect, what the hell are you and The Oracle waiting for prior to taking a huge stake in this 21st Century Juggernaut at these ridiculously low prices? While I reference all of these things, you must also know that, The Singaporeans, who you SING wild PRAISES about over time, have wrested FULL CONTROL of the LEVEL 3 Network. Go after this "SECURITY" with "GUMPTION" and "CONVICTION," good sir! :-) |
