Thousands of borrowers on the verge of foreclosure will soon have the option of renting their homes from Fannie Mae, under a policy announced Thursday. The government-controlled company, through its new "Deed for Lease" program, will allow borrowers to transfer ownership to Fannie Mae and sign a one-year lease, with month-to-month extensions after that. The program will "eliminate some of the uncertainty of foreclosure, keeps families and tenants in their homes during a transitional period, and helps to stabilize neighborhoods and communities," Jay Ryan, a Fannie Mae vice president, said in a statement. So they can't afford their mortgage, but they can afford to rent the very same property from Uncle? How does that work? Let me guess: Sweetheart rent deals for people who made bad decisions. Will security deposits be required? Or will they just trash the place when it comes time to leave? (What do you think!) More taxpayer subsidies for ne'er do wells. Probably on top of the food stamps they are getting.

Getting very tired of handouts. I bought less house than I can afford. I pay my bills. Where is my "sweetheart deal" from Turbo Tax Tim and Uncle Ben..?

I am starting to feel like a big schmuck because I pay my bills. Guess like I am feeling that "voting my interest" means throwing Oblama out on his tush.

What the h#ll has he done so far?

1. Healthcare? Nothing.
2. Iran's WMD progrma? Nothing.
3. Stopped Economic Armageddon? OK, maybe he has postponed it? The grandkids will get the bill for that!
4. Created jobs? Nope.

Almost one year down. What's actually been accomplished? Where is the change?
