Oh Frack - Rockin' in the Bakken

I'm back to the rig and drilling a new well in a series (fourth pad along strike). So far every well looks like it will be productive.



I had some time to get away from work and I drove around to some old rig sites. I have three sites recently drilled and everything is progressing very nicely. The first pad already has some prelim work being done:



Next I went to the next one and I see that they already have a frack job underway:



I had to get in close and take a look:



It would appear that work is well underway with pumps, tankers and holding tanks. Meanwhile here's a close up at another frack job at another site with a slightly different setup:



Finally I went to the first well sites in this series:



We are flaring off gas at both these sites and are already producing oil out of the Bakken and Three Forks Formations (not sure of how much yet).

Looks like a job well done so far.
