Re: utility company not gonna like this-detroit turning off a bunch of street lightsFtichburg, MA which is about 50 minutes from me is doing the same thing. Its an old mill town and has a lot of minorities, so tough area with high crime. Doesn't matter, they pretty much have shut down the lights through out the city. I'm not sure how this does for crime, so do they really save money?
