The strong $US may not be all bad. The large IQOS factory in Italy is being built with U.S. $'s and the $ helps the bottom line inso far as foreign corporate expenses (salaries, rent, travel ) are concerned.
The dollar is not always strong. I remember 10 years ago or so, a couple of finance guys I knew who worked in London, would bring their soiled suits with them to be dry-cleaned when they journeyed to New York. Because of the weak $US vs the Pound sterling they said it was worth the effort.
