Re: XOM revenue and earnings jump 55% for quarter.

Hopefully you can post that again with your bargain price today's $70 +/- price

I find it hard to buy most stocks in the market ... which i do not trust.... while my portfolio has gone up ... I find it difficult to buy stocks hitting their 52 week highs ....
Many pundits on TV keep recommending stocks hitting 52 week highs while pointing to (1) a healthy run up in a year end rally and (2) the improving and rosy outlook for 2011.

I remain skeptical about that rosy outlook for 2011... housing foreclosures, bank bankruptcies , high unemployment, the government running the money printing presses flat out...

sure makes those willing to put investment dollars at risk to seek overseas investment choices.

What is a poor forest creature to do? Storing up honey for the winter hibernation at the bear cave.
I do admit that local real estate looks better than the stock market. I am looking at some raw land that can be developed later.

And with my luck ... just as soon as I buy the land the stock market will mysteriously zoom up ... making it more over valued in my opinion but still leaving me as a spectator rather than a participant.
