More and more criminal and civil cases go to trial using confidentiality stipulations, and this situation allows courtroom deals to be made "in the closet". The Nation's courtrooms are plugged up with cases that are sometimes appealed for years, as the lawyers and judges use their own special forms of justice.
But this problem isn't just the within the Judicial Branch of Government. The Legislative and Administrative Branches are equally guilty of putting together deals out of the sight of those that elected them to office which are self-serving. And the public is too busy with their own lives to hold those in office accountable.
