Goldman Sachs vs. L. Anderson(?)To All, The article below, from Rolling Stone, has elements in it that pretty much describe how Anderson managed NOVC. And, if not precisely that, at least the 'culture' represented that gives executives outrageous salaries/bonuses irrespective of what their performance deserves. I don't know whether Eberwein can 'save' NOVC or not, but it's clear that Lance's leaving should greatly benefit NOVC, if for no other reason than to reduce excess costs and obvious bad management decisions [Mango, Advent, Western Union alliance, Corvisa, etc. ]. I would hate to "pimp" NOVC [as BB might accuse ], but this 'switch' in control may be the best thing to happen to NOVC in the last 8 years. [One can only hope.......... ] It's a long article, but well worth reading, and demonstrates some of the 'guns' used against us that make it so difficult for us to 'shoot it out' successfully in the financial 'O.K. Corral'............................... http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/news/the-great-american-bubble-machine-20100405?page=4 Enjoy! [And 'reflect', as well............] Dev |
