Re: UALThose are the only two which service my city pairs. >> And that is exactly the airline bull's argument: that on many routes, there is a monopoly or duopoly so the airlines are free to increase prices and have poor service. If you are saying that you're flying on a duopoly route and there are plenty of empty seats, then the airlines are going to keep steady at a duopoly, or worse. There's no reason for competitors to enter routes that are already under-utilized. |
