Re: Sentiment is a funny thing - GM
The lease residuals are where companies such as GM bury the bodies. Unfortunately, Fido eventually comes around, smells the corpses, and digs them up after a few years. What is the GM PE after adjusting for lease residuals? I frankly don't know and think it would take an awful lot of effort I'm not willing to make to figure out. Net, GM is an apparently cheap stock which could be fairly valued or expensive. If GM actually is cheap, traders have a few years before the specter of the next labor negotiation appears to remove cheapness on a forward basis. This is not the type of company that compounds over the long term. It is a trade. |
