Well, regarding TSLA, Doggy, as for me, TSLA is a religious experience in green. Of course, as an atheist, I am more than a little skeptical of such. And then there is Musk, unquestionably an excellent salesman and expert at extracting maximal dollars from the goobermint. Well that's no so nice.
I believe TSLA will be a zero as it will be wiped out by the likes of BMW and such. I am not sure our stupid domestic car manufacturers have the vision or guts for a real fight at this point. But I expect the Krauts do, as they are more forward-looking. I mean, our domestic guys just want to sell a shitload of trucks, SUVs, and mini-vans.
We will see. However, the problem with a TSLA short is that there is no catalyst for a crash, and so options are way too expensive, and a short has its risks. I have a bunch of puts, very underwater, and am not adding, but I will hold until they get to 1 month to expiration, and then thrown them under the railcar.
