Re: Rig values are down -- So Aubrey plans to IPO drilling unit while market near bottomFranklin National Bank had a strategy. The people acquiring funds didn't communicate to those lending funds.
During a period of rising rates, they were lending money based on an average cost of funds while acquiring money at the marginal cost of funds. They were lending at lower rates than they were paying!
Franklin National is on longer with us.
