Excellent observation and exactly why TRA makes absolutely no sense as a name.
IF they could actually create a business plan - they would realize they need a separate division independent from TiVo. That TiVo in their name holds them back tremendously if you think about it.
You don't see Comcast trying to be Nielsen do you? Or Nielsen trying to be a Comcast for that matter.
Only way TRA has a chance to compete and make money is to split from TiVo and buy access to real time data across all platforms. That independence is crucial.
I think TRA is a simple hobby. Tom Rogers probably is doing some people a favor by giving them a job to do that provides next to no value.
