Thinking of an idea similar to Habitat for Humanity but not for low income families instead for anyone to save money on housing.Anyone want to join me to set this up? Great for the world not just the USA. This could be a non-profit operation. Or maybe even a for-profit operation where members pay a monthly fee until they are done with certain obligations. Here is how it works. I think this is a great idea and has good intentions and merit and valid business or non-profit idea project. Great for society also. Think about it for a second and give my ideas some thoughts during this weekend Sunday while you are going to church or watching football. Let's say a person buys a empty lot and he joins my internet website called (just an example name I invented as of now) Habitat for All. A group of people joins within a city wide limit or next city limits. People will volunteer their time to help build the house for that family. Then, the family will continue to volunteer their time to help another family to build another house until certain agreed obligations are done. Or they can always help out as volunteers if they have the expertise and advice and give pointers. I like this to be a non-profit because it truly will help people lower the cost of housing needs. Think about this for a second. Cost of material should be about $60,000 if wood has not increased too much. Copper pipes are cheaper now also. An average lot is around $200,000 in most areas of the SF Bay area except in some high sort cities where lots are $300,000 or more. But still can save money since material cost is only round $60,000. Our internet sites will provide expert advice and services for free since there are donations or fees from members. Maybe our entity can design low cost house plans for people to build that offer members for free again. Sometimes plans are expensive from private parities. Think of what if lots such as those in Ohio that is selling for as low as $10,000. People can actually build very low cost homes for cheap as just the materials. Maybe depends on size of the house, materials can be lower also. Maybe s low as $30,000 for a 2 bedroom. So, cost for the whole house could be as low as $40,000 to $50,000 in many parts of America. I wish I'm a billionaire since my ideas should be able to create many great projects for society across the world not just the USA. I'm still working on ChopStickBundle which will need zero seed funding. I design this idea to have zero seed funding so there is no cost to set this up. It is tough to ask people to give you money for projects. Ming |
