Same old, same oldIf there was any doubt about whether the 2016 Republican field had evolved their views when it came to their tax policy just take a look at what happened tonight when Senators Rubio, Cruz, and Paul were asked the exact same question as the 2012 Republican field… They still refuse to accept a commonsense deal on tax reform because they’re beholden to an ideology that favors the wealthiest Americans and big corporations at the expense of the middle class. The GOP wasn’t serious about governing in 2012 and it’s clear nothing has changed in that regards. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For as much as they knock Mitt Romney……they sure sound like him!
Tonight, at the Koch Brothers’ donor gathering in California, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio:
So hopefuls like Paul, Cruz and Rubio may want to distance themselves from Romney’s failed campaign to boost their own profiles among the GOP base, donors or the media. But it’s going to be hard when, on issue after issue, they sound just like him. http://factivists.democrats.org
