Doesn't Einhorn say that- Ceo's shouldn’t blame short sellers for their stocks performance?Einhorn says- run the business- don’t look to outside excuses for stock price. Is Einhorn manning up and accepting responsibility for his poor performance? Is Einhorn trying to law blame for his poor performance on someone else here? Is Einhorn trying to lay blame on outside forces for his lack of foresight- his lack of hedges- his lack of diversification? Obviously Einhorn was caught up in the same tidal wave that took everyone else down- yet he was trying to tell the world that he was above the crest- that he saw the wave coming 100 miles away- yet at the end of the day- the wave took him down as well. Shouldn’t the man that claimed to see the disaster looming- shouldn’t that man be able to escape the damage with nary a scratch, a ding, or a dent? Shouldn’t the man that claimed to be smarter than all others- Shouldn’t that man be able to prosper when others are withering? How’s that for irony.
