Failleur to Deliver: Chris Faille
Alert to all,
I heard from Christopher Faille, reporter for HedgeWorld, who never lets us down. He wanted a comment on Jason's Lindsey's departure.
Given the previous liberties Mr. Faille has taken with journalistic ethics (let alone the truth), I responded via email, "I will respond on the record on the condition that you use my entire sentence, not just one part of it (as long as it is under 30 words and non-libelous)."
I had prepared, in fact, a concise reply of less than 20 words, but Mr. Faille did not reply to my email. I called him, and he refused to this simple condition (which has been granted me the other half-dozen or so times I have requested it of any reporter, including by one at the WSJ, even).
I just wanted to get this out there, so when he claims that I refused comment, you will know he is lying: I offered comment, and he refused to use it without retaining the ability to edit it to his slant.
Respect to all,
Patrick
