So new management (or at least old management in new roles) has been in there awhile now, and it seems pretty clear the FDA didn't like Joe Z.
So maybe the new dude has been doing some serious buttkissing behind the scenes, agreed to stop the appeals, agreed to continue a trial that is very important to the FDA (and everyone else), and begged for some kind of concession that would help the business stay afloat in the interim.
Is there a snowball's chance in hell that the sNDA is approved after all this? I can't see how that's possible. But maybe there are significant label concessions coming.
It's really sad that that constitutes the "wild ass bull case" here.
