I wonder if there would be an outcry against creating a "birdflu" resistant Chicken and or Turkey strain. would this be viewed as a huge breakthrough or another GMO to be banned. SGMO can address any virus that has as it root cause a genetic pathology. But will anyone spend the time or money to develop it. So far SGMO has not found a partner willing to join in that goal to address HIV. There is certainly a lot of food for PR that will be presented at ASGCT in about 1 week. may be we could even get an announcement about a license for,,,,,,,,Something,,,,,Anything.
