Dear Deluge,
(Aguacero is Spanish for Deluge).
You are indeed a gentleman, and even your response to the more negative posts speaks affirmatively.
Thank you.
I knew that my post would be controversial, and I am not surprised by the attempts at rationalization for EL's behavior, as I have seen this pattern repeated on other boards before. It's always more likely to happen when too many people are over invested in a stock (emotionally if not financially), and rocking the boat in any way is considered foolish, even self defeating.
I mean, if you really believe....
But I choose to remind myself that i have been in stocks like this before that tanked, and the EL's of that stock were similarly defended. Clearly, there is risk in every investment, and I understand that. I am NOT over-invested in this stock. Funding that building before the company has achieved anything is a far cry from what Bill Gates has done since his success. I consider what EL did intellectually dishonest, and I have to pay attention to what my gut says in these issues. Oh, and I would bet unless EL is ....flawed...then he had some misgivings about the decision. Aguacero did describe his own mixed feelings about the event before posting, and he was very careful not to have any judgment regarding the move in his post. I think his post was clever, as well as well written.
