Re: Oracle v Google judge background information I have been a ham since 1957 and have held Novice, General, Advanced and currently have an Extra class license. Within the past few months I taught an Extra class upgrade course. No, programming is not part of the FCC exam. Programming is not required to operate most of the equipment that is used in ham radio operations, but, I have found that many Extra class hams are often proficient in a variety of technical areas, sometimes including software. |
