Re: UEFI (was More in the series of "why do people use Windows?") Even more interesting, downloading the ISO and booting from that, rather than using the "Upgrade" adviser tool, install w8 just fine....on the same VM!! Talk about inconsistent.
You still can't upgrade....just a clean install....which is going to piss off a lot of people.
Once loaded, W8 is horribly ugly - metro is stunningly disgusting. And any of the millions of XP and w7 victims who know and use the Start button will loathe w8 from the first second.
