There is no reason whatsoever for a hearing. Trustee Edward Cahn has successfully rebuilt the Unixware business into a going concern and is currently fielding multiple multi-billion dollar offers for its sale. As has been reported, the lawsuit against Novell ended in a $350 million award, which has resulted in an extra dividend for the SC0 stockholders, and the stock price is currently at $45/share, just as a certain analyst once predicted. The IBM settlement talks are proceeding on schedule, after Judge Cahn turned down the latest IBM offer of $1.5 billion as "grossly inadequate." None of these matters need to be brought to the attention of Judge Gross*, so there will be no hearing, and . . . let's get on with our lives, why don't we?
* Currently under consideration for the next vacant SCOTUS seat.
