Re: New Brain Chancery Post - ZIOP patient number one in IL-12 GBM trial alive over 18 months since ZIOP treatment (after many failed previously) vs expected 5-6 months just posted - he's an inspiration. Pray for him....Ghost: I have never heard Splay say even once that the IL-12 trial will fail. He said their is a high probability it will fail. That is true No Ghost he said it would fail. However, Txsurgeon, Rob, others have posted positive thoughts on Il-12. There is room for debate. There is no debate that Splay said Il-12 will fail. Now, just this morning we hear from Splay confirming what Nick posted. 1) I thought (and said so at the time) it would fail after initial P1 trial results were published... Splay's post 71052 Nick Par listed quote after quote of Splay's "OK that is the idea. Now fast forward to the only XON molecule, presumably the very best one available, tested by ZIOP: IL-12. How has that done? Answer: fail, fail, failing." "The announcement today was a flag to anyone thinking critically that ZIOP has some serious issues: IL-12 is not working" "Another failed IL-12 trial. Don't you get tired of claiming failures are successes?" "And, IL-12 has ALREADY failed and STILL they are raising and spending tons of money." "IL-12 has already failed twice and appears to be trending to failure #3, and there is nothing else in the clinic" "But the fact is that glioma is taking a toll on the IL-12 patients. It is not the solution." "IMO, sometime early next year, ZIOP is likely to declare that there is no longer enough signs of sufficient efficacy to warrant proceeding with IL-12 for glioblastoma." "I am concerned that IL-12 GBM trial will be confirmed failed before JAN OpEx." "IL-12 is, IMO, doomed." |
