If all studies of bap are immediately stopped as soon as poor results of the phase III trial are revealed, then you are absolutely right. Elan continues with Tysabri - the best MS medicine to date.  However, most of the tea leaves show that the controlling parties (JNJ, PFE) are going to proceed with further studies - studies that would force Elan's hand.
