I don't see any reason to change my opinion at this point.  The laws of physics haven't changed.  A 2-ft. sand can give you a kick if you drill into it underbalanced.  They're drilling on top of a structure ... where you would expect gas to accumulate if there's a reservoir sand.  It has nothing to do with the seismic response.
