I don't think anyone is take over Pretium anytime soon.  The next government of British Columbia will likely see the return of the NDP (which is a left wing, union and environmentalist dominated political party).
 
Unless your project is already proceeding with all the necessary permitting, expect things to slow down, and the big boys will almost certainly wait to see the real nature of the likely new government before spending billions of new dollars in BC.  Previous NDP governments essentially shutdown new mining development in BC.  I expect that the new government won't be as harsh.
 
So if you are expecting a Pretium takeout this year, I think you are going to be massively disappointed.
 
The left wing in BC are living off of their inflated home equity in Vancouver.  They don't believe that economic prosperity relies on building mines and pipelines.
