Sheryl, thanks. I sold nearly all of CIM at $3.30 3/26, skipping the dividend. Haven't locked out buying some back if the price is right. There are many other REITs that great, and I'll wait to buy them when the bargains are there.
I am concerned that both NLY and CIM have seen their better days for a while. With Farrell gone they may be in flux with their direction. Will they merge? CIM has said they will continue with the current dividend through this current 2Q, and then re-evaluate the divy. Since $.02 of every dividend has been ROC, IMO the divy should pull back for 3Q.
I complement their handling of the situation they are in with the managers, auditors, etc., as they have kept us up to date as to the status of book value, and regular PR advising us of all the turns with NYSE and the SEC.
When all is said and done will the PPS return to higher numbers? .....
