Re: Not even 40k traded in first hour, yep word is spreading fast, fast as
Very,
While I wish I could disagree with you, for now I can't. I'm frankly not worried about where we are today, too many positive things are happening that should make the future far brighter.
I've certainly been wrong about how quickly Kadcyla sales would grow, but judging by all results revealed to date, I don't believe I'm wrong about its ultimate ability to replace and expand on Herceptin's market eventually taking it to well over the $6 billion a year that Herceptin currently sells.
I believe it won't be long before we see other drugs advancing from Phase I to II and more importantly from Phase II to III. Could their be trial failures, certainly, but I like the size of the pipeline and believe it will grow by 2 to 4 or more drugs a year for the foreseeable future. By the end of this decade I think we'll have seen a couple more approvals, far more drugs advancing in trials or into the clinic. If I'm right about that, today's prices will truly be a bargain.

p.s. On a personal basis I continue to achieve improving number and certainly am eligible for stem cell transplantation at City of Hope. If I were rushing it, I'd probably be having the transplant already, but I'm not. Early on I was told the lower the number in checking for the Philadelphia chromosome the better. While I'm low enough to do it, the goal is 0.0000 and I'm currently at 0.006x, I'll probably wait as long as City of Hope is willing to wait, they do have two matches that are 12 point matches, that's as good as it gets.
