Re: Revised calculation of Martīs fair valueYou suggest that whatever the consortium paid for OML18 is "fair value". So be it. But that's not how reserves are valued. They are valued at whatever the economic value derived from producing those assets are. So if you buy a bbl of oil for $3 that can generate $20 bbl return on a discounted cash flow basis, the "value" isn't $3, it's $20. As soon as the OML18 Reserves Report is issued, methinks we'll all understand why Midwestern is interested in paying $0.80c... |
