So.....what if Mart is NOT sold.... Would you jump into the panic and sell..... or would you hold until things settle and we get more information about ACTUAL Mart financials? What IS the actual value of Mart? Speculation about what the value of Mart would be were the deal to fail is, well, just that.... speculation. There are far too many missing values to make an educated estimate even. For instance.... nobody is talking about this paragraph from Mart's las NR: If Mart has not received official reports from Trans Forcados, then volumes and losses throught the system are educated guesses. But more importantly.... if the numbers are not even finalized at this point, it would seem very unlikely that Mart has been paid ANYTHING for product estimated at 327,570 bbls with estimated 10% loss or about 300,000 bbls! It could be possible (likely) that Midwestern would do everything possible to hold up the official release of the ACTUAL numbers.... keeping the share price down. I believe it's things like this that is adding to the uncertainty by the market on this deal and keeping the price at a ridiculous level..... while there's a $.80 deal on the table. So.... we don't REALLY KNOW what would happen if the deal falls through and if Mart could remain a viable company or not. Far too much information is missing from this deal. What else is new? |
