Re: Repost from OJ's BB - somewhat relevant hereThe open-fracture indicators such as euhedral (or subhedral ... not perfect but darned good) crystal faces were not specifically mentioned by either. However, they are a key to working a fractured paly. In the July 23, 2013 NR, DXE stated:
Several
interpreted fracture intervals are observed within a 245 metre thick Abiod section. Elevated C1-
C4 gas chromatograph readings along with evidence of micro-fractures observed in drill cuttings
coincide with the potential fracture intervals. It's my opinion that such "open fracture' indicators were seen and subsequently proved up with the cased logs. BTW I was the first to jump on (and add significantly) the "elevated C1-C4" readings, also subsequently proved up by cased hole logs. AIMHO, JF |
