"Look at the deeper water temps in Antarctica"
In other words, you are invoking the "heat is hiding in the deep ocean" excuse for the ice increasing.
The problem is that no one knows how warm the deep waters off Antarctica really have been in the last 50 years or how water temperatures change naturally in the deep ocean. Currents move water around in the deep ocean and that there are slight differences in temperature between water from one area to another. The temperature is sporadically measured at different points from time to time. The grid of measurements that exist is not sufficient to indicate with any precision the temperature of the deep ocean. One point within a 100,000 square km area that is measured may warm by 0.001 degree, another point within another 100,000 square km area may cool by 0.001 degree. Maybe one point is influenced by an underwater volcano close to the measurement point. Then there is the problem that the accuracy of the measurement can vary as the equipment ages. And alarmists adjust the temperature data for ocean thermometers that read cooler than they suspect that they should but don't adjust the thermometers that read warmer. The idea is that it must be warming - so those thermometers that are reading much warmer than the average of such thermometers are simply ahead of their time - LOL.
