Re: There is zero need to attack Iran -- BigRiver
<<Oh. The opinion that there's no reason to attack Iran is "relevant" to ag investing? As though the couple dozen readers of this board will make that decision.>>
I must say BigRiver that I find you more than a little amazing. More than one well-respected poster on this board has expressed repeated concern that Israel will attack Iran in the near future -- and that this is one of the primary reasons he is out of the market.
And yet you somehow believe that an article on this subject is not relevant?
And if Israel or the United States does attack Iran, what do you think will happen to the price of ag stocks? And yet you mysteriously maintain this subject is not relevant? I can assure you, BigRiver, that this subject is highly relevant to virtually every single investor in the world -- except you.
Moreover, it is obvious that you did not read the article or did not understand it as there is nothing liberal or conservative about it, nor did it advocate any particular action toward Iran. Rather, the article presented the story from several angles and from several different sources. The article was well-balanced and informative but did not have a liberal or conservative slant.
The story presented nothing but background and presented it well -- and it is for this reason I observe that you either did not read it or somehow did not understand it.
As for me being a “freeloader” on this board, is that the best you can do? When IV becomes a great deal more reliable than it is now I will consider becoming a paying member. And the fact that you are a paying member entitles to you to what, exactly? A superior status on this board or the right to dictate to others what they may post, the ideas they may express, the subjects they find relevant?
But allow me to make a suggestion, BigRiver. In the future I suggest that all who post here submit their comments to you, first, via email. And then you -- and only you – will decide what shall be posted to this board.
