US Farm ReportHere is the link to part of this morning's US Farm Report.
Only a five minute clip/commentary on the crop/markets
Just a few highlights (my paraphrase from the full show which will be available later) ...
Most crops are bearish with corn leading the slippery slope. Predictions for the corn crop being ahead of schedule (weather as wild card) ... mostly stuff we already have heard. Dollar rallying, continued turmoil in Europe, crude down. Wheat may be near a bottom.
Both commentators thought there was still downside for corn .. possibly under $4 -- yikes.
Some discussion later in the program on M&A activity -- Viterra and Gavilon. How the small farmer is being affected by the larger corporations.
The full program is an hour long ... available later.
An interesting tidbit was included on tart cherries being beneficial for arthritis (a study done by Oregon Health Sciences Univ).
