I agree except it is simpler to just go through the interview on TTax. The box designations on TTax EXACTLY match the designations on the K-1. It is not hard. For Line 13 there are either 3 or 4 screens or as was suggested use the FORMS view and enter the data directly on the form. If you do it once you will see how easy it is. The FORMS view is absolutely necessary to review the basic forms to make sure you have not made a mistake like entering an extra two or three zeros when entering interest income.
I have received as much as a $320 credit on W-2 wages and $200 on drilling costs so I always enter all the numbers, but in most cases not. The simple rule is to enter all the numbers so you do not miss out.
