I think you are being a bit myopic in your comments.
Their
Cosmo Kramer mine is coming on prod in 2012 .... they indicate cash
cost of about $600/oz and looks like 75,000 oz per yr. The Luxor dudes
are being opportunistic in trying to take control at a time where the SP
is in the shytter , the company has a ton of cash in the bank and they
are on the cusp of making the company a decent little miner with the new
Cosmo mine coming on stream imminently. It looks to me that a
competing bid is likely ... they have a huge land base in a decent
country for doing bizz and mining infrastructure in place ... this is
not a one trick pony sm cap exploration firm. They have prod and
operating mines. So if nobody steps up ... well there is a 56 cent
offer on the table ...Once again, seems like a pretty decent risk to
me. Also, with gold out of favour and the state of the world economy
... I like the idea of having ONE iron in the gold fire .... I am not a
gold bug ... I am not betting a lot of coin ....

company ... just that it looks like an opportunity to make some coin as a
short term play (opportunistic
