Might be as simple as the old cliche that "the market hates uncertainty". There was a nice pop in share price on the hope that things could be resolved quickly. The longer we go without an update from the company, the more the market wonders if it can be fixed quickly (i.e. uncertainty).
I don't think management needs to constantly update investors on what is happening, but I do think there are a couple of LS CRL milestones that warrant an update:
- When they know what exactly caused the CRL. After two weeks I'm sure they know, or at least they better.
- When the know how to resolve the problem and what the timeline is for the resolution.
