The surveys that interviewed people with an IQ over 20 did indeed side with Clinton. But a lot of the online surveys, which are obviously dominated by those with an IQ below 20, seemed to support Trump.
I also watched the debate, and was horrified. While I wouldn't trust Clinton as far as I could throw Bill, Trump simply looked, and sounded, like an ignorant fool. It is a very sad commentary on American society that someone like that could one day be their president. Truly, utterly, horrifying.
But I think when it comes time to vote, Hillary will win handily. With that in mind, I am studying my Canadian energy investments. I think Hillary will slow production of both oil and gas, but gas is already headed for a supply crunch this winter, so I continue to hold those stocks.
Oil is a bit trickier, as it could be a year before the demand really starts to eat into the surplus. OPEC/Russia are talking right now, but am not holding my breath for them to do anything supportive. But I will hold/add stocks like SGY, CPG, CJ and WCP, as I think they are some of the true survivors.
