Another Oklahoma quake, and really shallow.(CNN)A magnitude-5.1 earthquake struck Oklahoma early Saturday. The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported the epicenter of the earthquake was 17 miles northwest of Fairview. "We have no reports of damage as of yet, but we did get a good rock n' roll," Cheryl Landis with the Major County Sheriff's Office tells CNN. The earthquake occurred at 12:07 a.m. (1:07 a.m. Friday ET) at a depth of 1 kilometer, the USGS said. This is the strongest quake to rattle the state since 2011, the survey says. |
