Spoke to IR at Vicwest this morning. They have NO interest in getting into the oil/gas service business. Strictly manufacturing and shipping. Easy to do for them as they make the basic parts for the tanks already. Their's have certain advantages: lighter, easier to move around and install, a superior clamping system for attaching the liner. Tanks can be scaled up ( to 5.65 million gal) or down, galvanized as opposed to bare (Rusting) steel...
He also said RBC put out a report this morning ( On Poseidon or Frac ponds, I forgot to ask) which stated there is a market for between 4000 and 5000 ponds in the next few years.
Anyway, definitely not a competitor of PSN, but other oil service companies (or oil Companies themselves) will have access to a system similar to PSN and could be. Looks like plenty of room for a few competitors, though.
Does anyone have access to the RBC Report?
