Did John Ing secretly point the finger at management? This is What John Ing, from Maison Placements Canada, had to say about Campbell Resources in December 2008: Excerpt taken from: http://www.gold-eagle.com/editorials_08/ing121908.html "Financing has become as important as permitting, and the mining industry is now faced with survival. As such we have dropped coverage of Campbell Resources, Crystallex Int'l and High River Gold, who are facing major financing or permitting obstacles." Imo, I think that it boils down to how the company's management team directed the operations. A lot of poor decisions were perhaps made, and recomendatios not followed through....maybe too many. The hemorrhaging should have been stopped a long time ago when all the alarm bells were going off. "Financing Troubles" are a consequence of something, it does not give birth by itself. The Immaculate Conception of Financing Troubles do not exist as far as I know. coming up with money was hardly a problem for Campbell during the last ten years. Every single one of their past Private Placements were instantly filled. John Ing didn't go into details and say any of this out loud. But were the Campbell internal problems the message that John was trying to whisper to his audience. Numerous Investments Institutions (II's) have poured several millions of dollars into Campbell Resources (What Campbell needed they got) over the last ten years and have seen their investment evaporate before their very own eyes. We, the common little private investor, based our share buying decisions on the company's Public Documents and Media Sources that broadcast-ed messages from the company's CEO. Try to picture what the company must have told and shown the II's to have gained their Investment Dollars and TRUST! I don't imagine that they were told that the possibility of a ROI depended on the flip a coin! They must have been given some level of reassurance. What could it have been? Cheers! The RaJ
