We onced discussed that Noranda could be a #1 contender of a Campbell takeoverHi guys, I got a bit of jet lag and still need a bit more time to reajust to local time again. I'll make this brief so I can go get some more rest before heading off to work. I would like to rehash the possibility a scenario that would have have Noranda taking over Campbell and Nuinsco in a hostell like takeover. Noranda knows perfectly how to conduct small and big takeovers of other mining companies in Canada, especiallyof those in the province of Quebec. For those who don't know yet Noranda's name comes from the city name Rouyn-Noranda in Quebec. Both the two cities, Rouyn and Noranda merged together in the year 1986. That was jst a little bit of history for all the mining gurus of this board. This discussed matter on the chat board goes well back over a year now, but is still very relevant today if you ask me. We all know about Andre Fortier's past work history with Noranda. Anyone can simply read about this staright from the Campbell website under Andre's profile. AF basically worked for Noranda from '65 to '91. He finished his career with them as the company's Senior VP. That's shows alot of trust was given to AF. Someone else, that some of us know very well, who worked for Noranda from '80 to '94 in the sales and marketing division is Walter Cimowsky. Since '94, he's been working as head of copper concentrate and Blister (ingot) trading with Ocean Partners. Also take a look at Warren holmes past involment with Noranda. In '64 he joined the company as an Engineer in training, and get this, Noranda even paid for his his University courses '75-77. He obtained a MBA from the Univesity of Western Ontario, in London Ontario ('77) as a result of Noranda paying his way. Does anybody else think that Warren owes alot in retun to Noranda for having progressed his career to where it is today? He held sevral high position within Noranda for several years until '86 when he joined Falconbridge (we know this already). Holmes was a senior manager with Falconbridge during most of his time with them. Is Falconbridge, today, an acquisition of Naranda? Am I mistaken about this or did the deal go through? And there are many more people that we all know that has worked directly and indirectly for Noranda that today have some direct connection with Campbell Resources. I could list many more and will at a later point in time. But I don't like to see all the names of people that have both connection with Noranda and Campell. There are too many names involved today if you ask me and there are way too many for it to all be a coincidence imo. Somewhere in the background there is maybe a serious backroom deal being done with an unknown entity that has had us believing that something like this could be happening. Could Just the three names above be sleepers that are still secretly working for Noranda? Maybe we might just have a real clue to who the real masters are here. So I propose that we investigate this matter with doing some more DD from all participants of this board. Who wants to help tear of the clothes off the emperor. Now, I fully expect the Bashers (on the m ain board) to call full paranoia. Who cares what they think just as long as we get to the true bottom of these cumulative downplay of events that have plagued us for far too long. Cheers! The RaJ
